This site  contains information about Kingsville history and Kingsville Real Estate and homes for sale

In 1889 Built for Hiram Walker and Sons, The Mettawas Hotel was the most opulent and notable building ever built in the community. Entire families including nannies arrived at the Kingsville Railway Station with trunk filled apparel On Hiram Walkers privately built Lake Erie, Essex and Detroit River Railway.

Hiram Walker chose the Indian word" Mettawas" meaning the "confluence of waters" to describe the location of the property.

The mass production of agricultural implements for the farm  and appliances for the home created a new class of wealthy entrepreneurs in North America during the last 30 years of the 19th century. With both money and time available for leisure, it became fashionable to construct large estate homes seen in Kingsville today.

Besides the construction of the massive Mettawas Hotel, a waterworks system had to be completed in order to provide adequate water.

The Mettawas Hotel was designed by architects George D Mason and Zachariah Rice.

Now Mettawas Lane townhomes offer beach access to all residents of Mettawas Lane.

Kingsville Ontario  now offers a wide range of real estate new  and old.
